FORMULATION:
Each mL contains:
Amikacin (as Sulfate) . . . . . . . . 250 mg
INDICATIONS:
Amikacin Sulfate is indicated for Septicaemia. Serious respiratory tract infections including those with pseudomonas in patinet with cystic fibrosis, infections of CNS, Meningitis, Intra-abdominal infections, skin & soft tissue infections, burns and post operative infections.
WARNING:
This product contains metabisulfite which may cause hypersensitivity, including anaphylactic reactions, in susceptible patinets.

DOSAGE:
Adults: 15 mg / kg daily in 2 divided doses for 10 days. Total maximum dose should not exceed 1.5 gm/day in 2 divided doses. Neonates and premature and premature babies: A loading dose of 10 mg/kg followed by 7.5 mg/kg every 12 hours. Or as prescribed by the physician.
STORAGE:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30° C. Protect from light.
